Home Funders carries out lending activities through two very experienced housing finance intermediaries, the Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation (CEDAC) and the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP), who serve the many not-for-profit housing developers in the community that are interested in reaching these families.
In Massachusetts, the Paul and Phyllis Fireman Charitable Foundation
initiated the One Family
Campaign to end family homelessness.
Two organizations in Massachusetts that do significant work with
affordable housing and community development are Citizen's
Housing & Planning Association and the Massachusetts
Association of Community Development Corporations.

Melville Charitable Trust is a significant funder
in this field, and their website contains many great resources
and links. The Trust has also funded
a series on National Public Radio on this issue.

provision, and advocacy organization.
The National Alliance to End Homelessness is
an advocacy organization on this issue with many reports and
information on Shifting Gears,
a collaborative project with nine family homeless service providers.
The National Low Income Housing
Coalition publishes
an annual report on housing affordability in every jurisdiction
in the country.
The Neighborhood Funders Group on Housing published “More
Than Shelter: A Grantmakers Guide to Housing Programs and Policy”.
